Alan Hinsey, President ACH Productions

Alan Hinsey moved to Maine in 1995  when he was appointed as Director of the Bureau of Labor Standards by Governor Angus King.  After his time in the King Administration, Alan formed his own consulting firm in Rockland specializing in economic development services.  In 2004 Alan was hired as the Executive Director of the Knox/Waldo Regional Economic Development Council.  In addition to his economic development work in Midcoast Maine, Alan is also the host and moderator of “Mainebiz Sunday,” which is produced by the publishers of Mainebiz Newspaper.  The program  airs every Sunday at 10:00AM on WCSH 6 and WLBZ 2 (right after “Meet the Press”).

Dave Tassoni, VP of Operations, Athena Health

David Tassoni is the Vice President of Operations for athenahealth responsible for all daily activities related to Claims and Clinicals document processing.  David also serves as the Managing Director of the company’s Maine Operations Center, athenaMaine.  Prior to joining athenahealth in November of 2007, David spent 17 years with credit card giant MBNA America.  He was an integral part of the development of MBNA’s Maine operations center which became one of the state’s largest employers with over 4,000 people employed in 2001.  David is an active member of the Mid-Coast Maine community.  He currently is President of the Maine Coast Skaters Youth Hockey Association and is a board member for United Mid-Coast Charities.  In September 2009, David joined the board of Waldo County Health Care and Waldo County General Hospital.  David obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Delaware in 1991 and resides in Camden, Maine with his family.

Matt Jacobson, President, Maine and Company

Matt Jacobsen is the CEO of Maine & Co., whose mission is to bring companies to Maine. He is well versed in the incentives offered by other states and how they compare to Maine. He has been involved in many redevelopment and relocation projects throughout the State.

Paul Boghossion, Hathaway Creative Center

Paul Boghossian is the immediate past Chairman of Concordia Manufacturing, LLC which has parlayed its roots in the textile business into advances in composites, anti counterfeiting and biomedical end uses.  Concordia’s latest and most exciting development is engineered implantable biofelts for knee ligament and other body tissue repair.  He also founded a mutual insurance company that became a part of Beacon Mutual Insurance in 1999.   On the development front, Paul Boghossian has been involved with numerous rehab projects with the common theme of creative reuse of older buildings in Rhode Island and Maine.  Most notable is the Hathaway Center in Waterville, a 450,000 square foot mixed use and loft space development  that has won numerous awards. He is also about to break ground on Gehring Green, a project in downtown Bethel, ME that combines the practices of historic adaptive reuse, smart growth and green building.  Mr. Boghossian was recently honored with Maine’s highest award for historic preservation by the Maine Historic Preservation Commission.  A 1976 graduate of Colby College, Mr. Boghossian also holds a MBA from the University of Rhode Island.  He sits on the board of numerous companies and organizations including GrowSmartMaine.  He is a frequent guest lecturer at colleges and universities throughout New England.
