Friday Night at the Juice Conference!
Once the conference closes down for the day on Friday, November 13th there will still be much fun to be had:
Pecha Kucha:
The doors open at 6:45pm and show begins at 7:20 PM; admission is $5 per person to the public, or free with conference badge.
The line-up of presenters is a dynamic group with diverse topics including Mary Barnes, unconventional dry and wet drawings; Sam Cady, shaped canvas painter; Paul Chartrand, importer of organic wines; Autumn Cipala, translucent porcelain potter; Anastasia Fischer, interaction designer; Bill Laurita, owner of Swans Island Blankets; Scott Minzy, book artist and printmaker; Antonia Small, film photographer and writer. The em-cee for the evening will be Midcoast Magnet’s Mary Bumiller.

Party: Starts at 7:30 at Bayview Landing, off of Bayview Street near Route 1.
Locations: Atlantica, Bayview Lobster, Gilbert’s Public House, Paolina’s Way, Peter Ott’s, and The White Lion.
Details:
• There is a “passport” in your badge. Bring it to each of the party venues to get a stamp. All completed passports are entered into a drawing. You must have all 6 stamps to enter drawing. • Each location mentioned above is serving a great drink special, some late night food options, and offers a relaxing place to continue networking with Juice and Pecha Kucha participants.
• Drinks are (but not limited to):
o Atlantica – All Things Espresso, Espresso Martini o Bayview Lobster – The Hope is Hip Martini and the Coal Porter o Gilbert’s Public House has many Maine micro brews on tap and in bottles o Paolina’s Way – the Snow Ball o Peter Ott’s - the Coffee Nudge o The White Lion –White Lion Blue Tooth and White Lion Cider.
• There will be 2 bands starting at 9 pm at Gilbert’s. They are the Returnables and the Toughcats.
• Check out the Mad Girl Models (www.madgirlworld.com) at The White Lion. * You must have your badge with you to get into Pecha Kucha and the Party. The Public can pay $5 to get into Pecha Kucha and receive a green wrist band to get into the party.
Dinner:
Dinner will be on your own, immediately following the conference. With over 500 people trying to get a good meal in a short time, we highly suggest making a reservation at one of the Camden restaurants listed below. They are all looking forward to having a bustling Camden on Friday night.
