Moderator: Jamie Ritter, Chair of the Maine Library Commission, Deputy Director of the Camden Public Library
Jamie Ritter is the current Deputy Director at the Camden Public Library, and he also serves as the Chairman of the Maine State Library Commission. Prior to joining the Camden Public Library, Jamie was a Senior Vice President of Marketing and Strategic Planning at Camden National Bank, and Vice President for Community Relations and Administration at MBNA America Bank.

Sonja Plummer-Morgan, Director of Turner Memorial Library, Presque Isle; President of the Maine Library Association; Board Member of the Association of Rural and Small Libraries
Sonja Plummer Morgan is a public library director in Northern Maine and held positions in a southern Maine school library, and in Moab, Utah as library director. Sonja completed a Master's in Library and Information Science from the University of South Carolina and currently serves as the President for the Maine Library Association and as VP/Pres Elect for the Association for Rural & Small Libraries.
Molly Larsen, Director, Rockport Public Library; Member of the Maine Library Commission; Immediate Past President of the Maine Library Association
Molly Larson started her career in libraries in 1984 at the Bangor Public Library and worked in a various capacities there until November 2005 when she became director of the Rockport Public Library. Molly is a past chair of the Maine Libraries Conference, immediate past-president of the Maine Library Association, and a member of the Maine Library Commission.
Susan Preece, Director of the Topsham Public Library; Chair of the Central Maine Library District Executive Board
Susan M. Preece has been the Director of the Topsham Public Library since 2005. She is a former Children’s librarian and has worked in all areas of public libraries on and off since 1977. She is Chair of the Central Maine Library District and a member of the Regional District Liaison Committee. Susan believes that libraries, especially public libraries are an essential resource for all Mainers. Libraries are particularly important for the creative economy in Maine. Maine’s library network offers many opportunities for partnership which can provide concrete benefits for both the library and partnering organizations/businesses.
Arthur Turley, Lewiston Public Library Board of Trustees; Member of the Friends of the Lewiston Public Library; Central Maine District Executive Board
Arthur Turley after a long engineering management career became involved in his local library – the Lewiston Public Library. He has filled many roles there. He was President of the Friends, a member of the Board of Trustees and involved in the redesign of the libraries web site as well as it’s long range plan. Regionally he was appointed to the Executive Board of the Central Maine Library District. In 2009 he was appointed to the Maine Library Commission. Mr. Turley is active in several community projects. He served on the Program Advisory Board for Central Maine Technical College and has been a guest lecturer there.
